Our Story
Sui Suta began in 2017
in a small Hyderabad atelier
What started as Shalini sketching designs at her dining table — surrounded by leftover fabric scraps from her grandmother's old saris — has grown into a boutique trusted by hundreds of brides and women across India.
The name Sui Suta means "needle and thread" in Hindi. It's a tribute to the artisans whose skill turns a length of cloth into something a woman remembers wearing, decades later.

Meet the Founder
Shalini
Founder & Creative Director
"I grew up watching my mother match a saree to her mood, and a blouse to her courage. Clothing was never about trends in our home — it was about being remembered for the right reasons."
Shalini trained at NIFT Hyderabad and apprenticed for three years with master weavers in Varanasi before founding Sui Suta. She personally oversees every bridal commission.
